DOUBLESKIN project born from two Italian dj producer: Dema & Axel
Pietro De Marco, aka Dema, fascinated by every kind of music since he was a young boy, begins to compose and manipulate music with the PC, learning the fundamentals of music and creating its first and simple production. In October 2005 his remix of "Big City Life" begins to be broadcast on RadioDeejay, the most important network in Italy, and it is included in the chart of the 10 best remix of 2005. In 2006 he realizes many mashups and remixes which are broadcast as well on Radio Deejay: one of these, "OneT-CoolT vs 50Cent: In da Magic Key", at the end of March wins the "Mashup" contest,created by dj Molella and Albertino, and it is awarded as the second best mashup of the year. This success brings him to play in many discos in Milan and to meet Alfonso Zito aka Axel, one of the most request dj in Milan.
In 2007 they start taking part in the Minimalism project, which allows him to play in big parties around Italy in collaboration with Circoloco, Amnesia, Diabolika, Metempsicosi, Amore, Folies de Pigalle, Cocorico and many more. Discographic success come in November of 2008 with the release of the track "Tarocco" by Dema on the German AUTIST Records: the track enters in the charts of most important dj of the world coming in 19th place in the Beatport Top Chart. In 2009 is out the first production born from the collaboration between Dema and Paride Saraceni: "Ctrl Alt Del" on Substudio and immediately after "Traffic" by Escapism Musique. His track are supported and played by very important djs like Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Danilo Vigorito, Joseph Capriati, Alex Young, The Dolphins, Dandi & Ugo and many other famous artists. At the same time Axel became art director of a new party called MadHouse actually in Italian tour. At MadHouse party have played Dandi & Ugo, Franz and Shape, Oxia, Andrea Matttioli, Italoboyz, Mario Più, Samuel L Session and others…
In summer 2009 Dema & Axel decided to start a new discographical project called DOUBLESKIN in collaboration with dj like Andrea Mattioli, Piatto, Autisc, Andrea Giuliani & Luca Rossetti, Sami Wentz, Angy Kore and more.. stay tuned!
