Ready For The Good Life is a call to arms to anybody out there willing themselves into better times. The track is the second single from Amateur Best a.k.a. Joe Flory (Ex-Primary 1) and features Chilly Gonzales on piano. Flickering bass drops and pitched drums make for an ominous setting, but the song's gorgeous pianos and lilting vocals sugarcoat the pill. By the time you reach the conclusion of Ready For The Good Life this little pop song feels pretty life-affirming.
