"Hailing from the live music capital of the world, the multi-talented Sebastian Marrs, has been a neccessity in the underground DJ/ producer scene.

Sebastian started his music career early as a teenager by experimenting with a multitude of instruments with several different live acts. Throughout the years he has picked up bass, drums, piano, and performed several genres including everything from reggae/ dub to metal and acid jazz.

Sebastian has always thought himself to be a librarian of music. Despite personal opinions he takes time to be up to date with any and all genres of music around. He is a real connoisseur in his own right.

It was at about 16 years old that Marrs began experimenting with music production on a computer, using an early version of Garage Band that came with a Mac desktop his parents bought him. Baffled by the multitude of instruments and sounds he had right in front of him, Marrs knew this was something he could stick with. In 07 Marrs discovered dubstep at an underground rave he was attending and his mind was blown. Already engulfed with a passion for electronic music production and reggae music he had finally found a "niche" and he knew that was what he would pursue.

Marrs became handy with a set of CDJs and started playing out in the scene under the alias Lab Rat. He very quickly gained respect and built a name for himself in the fast growing dubstep scene around Austin.
At only 19 years old Marrs was hitting capacity every Saturday night with his residency at Firehouse Lounge off 6th st in downtown Austin TX. Marrs continued the growth of his DJ career under the name Lab Rat to hold numerous other residencies around town, and even throwing larger scale events. Marrs has played all around TX in Houston, San Antonio, San Marcos, and more.

With the collective experience Marrs gathered over the years as DJ Lab Rat he decided it was time for a change. Lab Rat was a name associated with a certain sound, and Marrs wanted to play out less in order to focus more time on his music production. He took time to buckle down as an assistant manager at a local pizza joint to put together a solid studio. A dojo, he prefers. Now armed with the tools he needs, Marrs has been spending sleepless nights experimenting like crazy with any and all genres of music.

"DOSAGE" has become his newest focus. A 'no genre" side project that is slowly gaining a stellar reputation. You can expect anything from hip hop instrumentals to deep bass music, and rootsy reggae sounds.

Sebastian still plays random gigs at festivals, clubs, raves, and even backing hip hop acts around Austin. He holds a weekly residency at Karma Lounge on Tuesday nights, and an annual residency at the Austin Reggae Festival, formerly known as Marley Fest.

Sebastian has shared the stage with artists such as- Badbwoy BMC, Exceed, Zapper, AFK, Mad Classy, Crizzly, TDBZ, Charles Feelgood, Micro, Joe Nice, Dubtribe Sound System, Flinch, Noah D, Mark Instinct, Bare, DJ Michael 5000 Watts, Bushwick Bill, Alex Marley, Liquid Stranger, and Borgore.
