I will be performing this piece in a few weeks time and in order to work on my tone and interpretation, I decided I needed to know what I sounded like, so I recorded it.
This isn't such a professional-sounding recording as my other 'studio' recordings, since I didn't close-mic the piano and haven't added any reverb (I needed to hear what it sounded liked more from the perspective of the audience.) There is also some clattering about in the background, because my mum was in the next room doing dishes or something. But I like the overall effect enough to upload it.

note: after I'd finished recording, I immediately made a decision to change the way I play the rolled bass chord in the loud triplet middle section - instead of playing it BEFORE the right hand, I'm going to play them both on the beat. I don't like the gap, it sounds clumsy. But for my purposes, it wasn't worth recording it again just to fix that.
