DoosC is a french composer, arranger and producer, born in 1979, native of the Alps, and lives today in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

DoosC musical project, has its roots in the internet culture and the copyleft movement. DoosC makes extensive use of freely available internet resources such as free audio samples, free software, … and believes in the values of sharing and in collaborative philosophies.

It all began in 1997 in the very underground demoscene as Pacifik Jay and Cyber Nitrox, thanks to the legendary Scream Tracker 3 under MS-DOS, followed by Impulse Tracker 2.

After some wanderings under Windows, a migration to Linux in 2004 enabled the rediscovery of the spirit of sharing of the demoscene.

In late 2008, the project resumes through the discovery of ressources like Linux MAO and LinuxMusicians, and softwares like Schism Tracker and many other free softwares.
