"Seduction: Sexy, Seductive Beats for the Bedroom" was the first CD Donovan ever produced an Official CD Release Party for back in early 2002 with the W Hotel San Francisco. Little did Donovan know, "Seduction" would become one of his most popular mixes that resulted in a series of compilations. Within weeks of its release, "Seduction" spread like wildfire throughout the Bay Area with major retail stores and upscale restaurants & lounges playing it in constant repeat mode. However, the most rewarding part was receiving all the positive feedback from people who actually played it in the privacy of their own bedrooms. The purpose of "Seduction" was to show a different side of house music. A sensual, erotic side that would "enhance" your sexual experiences just like a good Sade, Maxwell, or Prince CD... Donovan's ultimate goal was to have people putting "Seduction" with those "special" bedroom CDs... And from the positive feedback Donovan received, it achieved what he had set to accomplish.

A lot of hard work and blood, sweat, and tears went into this album. Donovan took a lot of pride in each mix and treated every mix like a piece of art. He tried to present an experience and seamless journey through his music where he took as much pride in the creativity of his mixes as he did the songs themselves. He strived to evoke a certain emotional reaction when his mix introduced its next song that would carry that feeling on until he orchestrated the next... Over the years, Donovan collected some of the sexiest records to put on this album. However, through the hundreds of hours of listening sessions, he came to learn that there is distinct difference between what is "sexy house" and what is "sexual house". Sexual House is music that grabs you in a different way. It reaches deep inside of you and pulls out that animalistic, lustful feeling that leaves you sexually tingling. We don't know how else to describe it, but it's a wonderful feeling. So through this discovery process of making this CD, Donovan pieced together some of the most incredible songs, some new, some old, that will evoke erotic emotions through you like you have never felt before through house music. Donovan structured the CD in such a way that, depending on your mood, you can enjoy beautiful, lovemaking music or something a little more lustful and sultry. He takes you on a musical journey through a new dimension of eroticism that ultimately, auditorily climaxes with instrumental sounds that clearly represent the listener acheiving orgasm.
