About
Don Nadi is an Australian based creative, working in many fields, including graphic design, music production, event management and DJing. Over the years he's worked as a touring musician as well as a Session Musician / Producer operating out of his own WORLD RECORDING STUDIOS in Melbourne. His DJ resume reads like the history of dance of the last 10 years. He has played alongside DJ legends like Derrick May, Derrick Carter, Ivan Smagghe, Chicken Lips, Dj Falcon, Cassius, Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Lee Burridge, Little Louie Vega. Sandy Rivera and David Morales. Then in 2007 he then established his Club Brand HUGE IN JAPAN, that boasts an international Dj roster to leave most music-lovers gasping for air. Starting with some of Ed Banger's first Australian shows, including Justice, Busy P, Uffie, Feadz, Dj Mehdi (R.I.P.) SebatsiAn, Kavinsky and Surkin. Plus Modular artists Cut Copy, Van She, Midnight Juggernauts, Belgium, Kim, and Pnau. Also New York’s DFA's Indie superstars Juan Maclean, Tim Sweeney, Matt Saffer and Holy Ghost!. Other notable artists featured were Europe’s minimal heroes Mandy, Dj T, Steve Bug, Maurice Fulton, Swayzak, Tim Paris, Radio Slave, Para One, Headman, and Mr C .
Most recently he’s shared the stage with DFA’s LCD Soundsytem, Idjut Boys, Andrew Weatherall, Greg Wilson, Snoop Dogg (Lion) and Beastie Boys, as well as being a regular guest at Australia's biggest festivals: the Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, Stereosonic and Creamfields.
