Don Mescal is a dj, producer, blogger, and radio host in Montréal.

I am one of the pionner of electroswing sound in North America.
I am part with Eliazar and Khalil in Speakeasy Electro Swing, the first electro swing party to start In Canada.
We are really happy to give you this unique party now in Montréal.
I am also part of the website electro-swing.com, one of the best place to find great mix and interview of this unique style of music.

I already played with some big names in electroswing scene as Dunkelbunt, Dj Delay and Smokey Joe & the Kid, Mano Meter, Defunk, Michael Fraser

I played this year at Igloofest and Piknik Electronik with Smokey Joe & the Kid (two huge electronic festival in Canada ).

I start this year to make my own music with Mangroove Brothers.
We already won a remix competition of Swing Republic's track Crazy In love.

My second project is Mangroove Party.
We run a radio show every sunday on CISM and monthly party.
I spinn records since more than 10 years.

Né en France, Don Mescal est établi à Montréal depuis les cinq dernières années. Sa première table tournante acquise à l’âge de17 ans, il a pu parfaire son art dans de nombreuses villes de France, d’Australie et du Québec.
Il a partagé l’affiche avec plusieurs artistes d’ici et d’ailleurs :

Depuis ses débuts, il n’a jamais cessé d’écouter et de chercherde nouveaux sons. Versatile, Don Mescal ne se limite pas à un seul style.Son sac de disques est rempli d’electro swing, Balkan, Bootleg, deep funk, tropical madness…
En plus de chauffer le dancefloor, il est également animateur radio depuis de nombreuses années.Il anime l’émission Mangroove Party à la radio CISM (89.3FM) tous les dimanches de 16h à 17h.
Aujourd’hui, Don Mescal se fait un plaisir de faire découvrir l’Electro Swing et de voir la réaction du public toujours plus enthousiaste.
