"Words In The Fire" is from the Patrick Watson album 'Adventures In Your Own Backyard', out now on Domino Records in the US and Secret City Records in Canada.
Since the album came out the band has performed to sold-out crowds all over the world, from Paris and Berlin to Montreal and New York. They've wowed audiences in the US while supporting Andrew Bird, and entranced festival goers all over Europe this summer.
To mark their Autumn tour they've offering a free download of the decidedly warming, autumnal Words in the Fire from Adventures in You Own Backyard. In contrast to the buoyant playfulness of the album's first single, Into Giants, Words in the Fire showcases Watson at his singer-songwriter best, cackling with intimacy. Make sure you get good and close when the band plays this one live this fall.
