Dominator Wasps come from the most prestigious producing backgrounds, being featured in releases from the most exclusive record labels and sweeping out the top spots of the beatport top 100. Using the finest producing technology and musical knowledge, these two create untouchable releases such as "Adventures in Modern Talking Land" and "The UAM".
The two first began their musical journey when they were in middle school. They began experimenting with this new style of electronic music during after school hours and breaks. In 1989, they made their first release titled "And So it Begins/The Voyage/♥ Baby Skrillex/Space Age/Genesis" under the name "Satan Wasps". This first release flourished, gathering millions of fans and listeners from across the globe.
"It was like a rush," quotes Dominator in a recent interview, "to wake up and see so many people listening to my music. Soon I started hearing it [on] the [radio]. That's when I knew: It [had] only [just] begun,"
Dominator and his partner, Wasps, continued their career in sound design. They began DJing in the most exclusive clubs, making millions of dollars every night.
"I guess you could just say we were living the dream," said Wasps in another unnamed interview, "busting out sweet tracks during the day and partying all night,"
But in 1996, there was a tragic incident. Wasps was diagnosed with an eating disorder.
"I just, couldn't stop eating. All day, all night, constantly eating like some kind of horrifying monster," uttered Wasps through muffled sobs.
"His, disorder, obviously hampered production on our music. But I was determined to see him get past his eating problems."
It a full 14 years for Wasps to rehabilitate from his tragic disorder. But in 2010, the two reunited as the "Dominator Wasps" we know today. They started studio work on "The Hammer/A Tribute to Skrillex/Debut Dubstep Drums 'n' Skrillex/The Anthem" right away, adapting with great speed to the modern age the electronic world had taken since their absence. They finished the production late 2011, releasing the track to public two weeks later. The song was an obvious hit, immediately reaching the top of the charts.
Since then, Dominator Wasps have experimented with all different types of music and melodies. The sound of their music is constantly changing, exciting, and always excellent.
