I’m a rapper not a mcee (only because I feel the word ‘mcee’ has been bastardised by shit mcee’s on shit genres) hailing from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

I have been rhyming under the alias of ‘Do-2x aka. Dee-Official’ since 2005 and since 2007 have been producing and mixing under the name ‘Dubba Dubs’.

I straddle the line between a ‘Hip-Hop’ and a ‘Grime’ rhymer and only really touch the latter two genres with bars, although I’m also known for putting lyrics on Dubstep.

I often rhyme/collaborate with long-time friend ‘Sticky Bud’.

Recently I've had a external HD and internal HD both die, so I'm back to square one...

Early Career Events:

•Performed at track @ urban event ‘Hard 8’ in Scunthorpe.

•Supported ‘Plato’ and ‘The Unsigned Artists’ @ gigs in Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford.

•Performed a track @ The Plug with 'Chief', 'Kris White' and ‘Sticky Bud’ for ‘Chinese New Year’.

•Organized and performed @ ‘Kamakazi’ in Scunthorpe with ‘Sticky Bud’.

•Performed @ ‘Tounge in Cheek’ in Scunthorpe with ‘Sticky Bud’.

•Recorded @ ‘Fairview Studio’ in Hull for ‘SPR 10’s’ solo album.

2007:

•Began a BA Honours Creative Music Course’.

•Started producing beats and djing under the name of 'Dubba Dubs'.

•Ran a weekly open mic night, ‘The Takeover’ in Scunthorpe @ 'Schnapps Bar'.

•Performed @ 'Bass Sick Manuvaz', a Scunthorpe based drum and bass event.

•Began making songs in a four piece band called 'Senthermental'.

2009:

• Finished mixing down the grime E.P 'Welcome to Scunthorpe’, which featured myself, ‘Sticky Bud’, ‘Shifty Swifty’, ‘Joe Gutta/Joey-G-Zus’ and ‘Mcee Maz/Maroose’.

• Made an appearance on Lincoln’s 'Siren FM 107.3'.

• Organised a night known as 'Urban Takeover' @ The I-Bar, Grimsby.

2010:

•Made multiple appearances with ‘Sticky Bud’ on north east based internet radio station 'Fuzion Radio' over sets mixed by ‘Brett Jay B’, ‘Lukio the Scientist’ and ‘Dubphobia’.

•Performed tracks with 'Sticky Bud' @ 'Urban D-K' @ SCY Bar, Lincoln.

•Performed with Sticky Bud @ multiple 'Sub-Merge' events @ 'The Matrix Club' over sets mixed by ‘Brett Jay B’, ‘Lukio the Scientist’ and ‘Dubphobia’

•Performed with Sticky Bud @ multiple 'Freestyle' events @ 'The Establishment' over sets mixed by ‘Brett Jay B’, ‘Lukio the Scientist’, ‘Dubphobia’ and ‘Ghandi Bo-Bandi’.

•Finished a BA Honours Creative Music Degree.

2011:

•Made multiple appearances on internet station 'Sub Bass FM' over sets mixed by 'Brett Jay B'.

•Performed a few tracks @ ‘Hustle’ @ 'The Pier', a night organized by ‘Shane-O’.

•Collaborated with band ‘Triskelion’ @ Old Lloyds, Grimsby.

2012:

•Collaborated with ‘Triskelion’ for a second time @ ‘The Matrix’, Grimsby.

•Performed @ ‘Twisted’ @ ‘Willy’s Wine Bar’, Grimsby over sets mixed by ‘Brett Jay B’, ‘Lukio the Scientist’ and ‘Danny Howe’.

•Performed at ‘Barnsfest’ @ ‘The Old Mill’, Barton, over a dubstep set mixed by ‘Audax’.

•Was featured on two ‘Mayhem Jams’, one with ‘Mcee Blast’, ‘Duska’, ‘Crezwell’ and ‘Rusko’ and one with ‘Sticky Bud’, ‘Mcee Blast’, ‘Mcee Blitz’ and ‘Mcee Breeze’.

•Formed the four man rap crew ‘The Linc Up’, with ‘Sticky Bud’, ‘SPR 10’ and ‘Kris White’ and recorded two videos.

•Performed @ ‘Samuels Club’, Louth, over a dubstep set mixed by ‘Dubphobia’.

•Ran a hip-hop workshop at ‘Kimberley’s School of Performing Arts’ in Scunthorpe.

•Began a PGCE PCT course at ‘Sheffield Hallam’ university.
