Dj Ze Luis (aka Dj Mind) is a Portuguese DJ who currently resides in Sao Joao da Madeira in the district of Aveiro, PORTUGAL. He began his career as a DJ in 1985 and began as a producer in 1998, and remixer in 2003. Because it is one of the pioneers in Portugal (from the "Old-School" generation), he dominates all the DJ techniques: from the vinyl, the Mac, obviously going by the cd, with a unique musical culture, which was also built by the experience he had as an entertainer and a radio producer for several years, business he has developed until 2007, again in parallel with the DJing.
Ze Luis is a dj with a great and rare feature (which is hardly found today) he is versatile and has vision "on the space" where he plays. He does not take sets already prepared, or sequences already planned, he makes "reading" of the house and the public, trying to understand what people want, creating an intimate connection with the party people, as only he can do! No complex or intransigence! As a result of this concern in knowing what the public wants, the sets of Dj Ze Luis can be magic. Dj Ze Luis performs three distinct types of styles; House, Commercial and Revival, and he can be hired for any of these styles / sections separately. As a producer, published his first song "House music is tribal" (with vocals by Johnny Light), in September 2000, published by Music Zone, and having as backup Tecpromo producer and label UpFrontRecords "and included in the collection" Homeworks from Portugal ". The official launch took place at Queens nightclub in Lisbon (Portugal), a mega-party that lasted until 11:30 am! In this collection also attended the dance scene greats like Luis Leite and Kult of Krameria. At this stage already stated the clear influences Tribal House. This style would later be confirmed as his preferred style, on the launch of his second song "Destiny" in 2002, also with the seals of the same publisher and editor. The official launch took place also in Queens nightclub in Lisbon (Portugal).
As a DJ, was "resident" for several years in various clubs in the district of Aveiro, and particularly in the districts of Ovar, São João da Madeira and St ª M ª da Feira. In his shed freelance, he has performed in big clubs like Queens in Lisbon, or the Pacha Ofir, among others, and in major events such as the famous Carnival of Ovar (for two consecutive times), for more than 15,000 people. All the clubs where he was resident, or with a usual frequency, billing and record-setting turnout of the public for several months!
He has performed alongside big DJ's like Jesus Del Campo, Luis Leite, Jiggy, Carlos Manaça, Kult of Krameria, Nuno Cacho, etc.. Today he is very committed to its production (Tecpromo), and agenda has major projects such as creating a label ... In parallel, Ze Luis is currently active in two productions, including "Movida 80" (a project focused on the music of the 80s revival), and also the "LiveSet" (The first radio program of dance music and electronic music, produced exclusively for distribution and issue a "net" of radio and FM radio services in Portugal and around the world.).
