Yunome grew up in Liverpool, where he would spend the majority of his free time roaming the city's record shops, searching for the latest electronic music they had to offer. It wasn't long before his thirst for fresh sounds fed into a career in DJing and, by the early 90s it had become a career, as he not only played the many raves that were happening, but also started putting on his own parties.

Having got his hands on some second-hand studio equipment alongside his first set of 1210s at the age of 18, it wasn't long before he was experimenting with his own sounds. By 2004, this experimentation had turned into his first record, a release that was swiftly followed by many more. Over the next 8 years Pete played some of the best clubs and festivals around the world, whilst all the time honing his own production skills, something that is evident in the string of quality releases he has had over the years for the likes of Tug Underground, Oh So Coy Recordings, Something Different Records and Itchy Pig Records.
