VICTOR CHENG has been voted one of the top DJ's in Taiwan, but he considers himself more as an aficionado of quality dance and electronic music. He simply likes to share his passion for music with his peers and other party people. That's why his career has spanned 20 years, and has taken him across Asia to Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Phuket, as well as Croatia. Victor created the first ever monthly gay party in Taipei called "Paradise Party" in 1995. He has been one of the most important DJs for Taiwan's gay and straight club scene throughout the past 10 years. His music style is a mixture of House, Tribal, Tech-house and Techno, with an exceptional mixing ability and an unbelievable sense of his surroundings, creating the perfect party mood.
Victor has released two DJ-Mix compilation CDs, his debut album "TeXound Version 002" in May 2002, and his second "Ricochet" in 2004, released by Avex Trax. He has been a resident DJ at "AXD/TeXound" (The Best Club for underground dance music scene in Taipei) for the past 7 years, has frequently been a guest DJ in other major cities in Taiwan, has performed at Ageha Tokyo several times between 2006 and 2008 and for the closing party at "Nation" on Phuket Island, Thailand in both November 2005 and October 2006. Some of the top international DJs he has performed with include Sasha, Carl Cox, Murk, Tom Stephan, Richie Hawtin. His most recent performance was at a legendary night club in San Francisco --- The End-Up.
