With a tendency of depression you may have to enjoy his music with care. Mostly his productions are pressed by deep bass lines and flatly melodies. This kind of mood runs nearly through all tracks but you should be ready for experiments at any time. The listener can easily be lost in daydreaming. But don’t be afraid you will be woken up by seemingly “tactless” elements. This phenomenon is concluded by an inspiration out of films and soundtracks.

Who’s thinking that he has to be temperamentally almost the same like his tracks is wrong. Djulien Ferrantes is although a really quite person but he is enjoying his life and always trying to arrange it in an active way. This active way also affects his environment. Since 2010 he is a member of a compilation of Dj´s called “Familie Gold”. They organize parties in different locations and run a wagon for the yearly taken place Fuckparade.

To run free and inspire his creativity he always likes to cooperate with other artists. In the past not every cooperation was inspired by productivity but every one was important at its own way. The last cooperation with Franziska Scholz for the project “Room 13B” was one of the bests by now. Unfortunately the project is put on the back burner because both artists are really involved in their studies.
The study of Djulien ferrantes is intimately connected with his career as an artist. Almost at the age of 12 he begun to experiment with his own tape decks and soon the first turntables followed. At the age of 20 the first gigs started mostly in clubs in his hometown Rostock. Soon the pure spinning of records was not longer enough so Djulien Ferrantes started to produce his own music to carry his own imagine of Techno music into effect. During the years these production got better and better so the wish of going out to public grows. Live acting is a really good way to do this. So today spinning (analog and digital way), producing and live acting are a fixed part of his work. This knowledge will be expanded within his studies for Audio Engineering.

But if everyone knows: No human can’t lives on love alone. Djulien likes to earn a bit of money for his work to contribute the budget of his family. As fate would have it this wish may come true.
