Dj Suff, from West London is one half of the production team ”Mange Le Funk” and has had a love for house music from the early days when he was introduced to acid house in 1986. Over the years his passion deepened and became inspired by the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphreys, Danny Rampling, Rocky & Diesel, Paul Trouble Anderson, MAW and Paul Oakenfield to name a few. This was the catalyst for DJ Suff to start spinning himself in 1992 and he has never looked back.
His DJ sets are renowned for a vibrant quality party vibe which he discovered early from the US House and Garage scene which soon began to shape his sets. Through the ever changing genres of this scene he has stayed to true his heart and played deep funky jazzy house with soulful vocals. His musical knowledge is second to none and if not found behind the decks in the club you’ll find him cutting the rug on the dancefloor.
He had a life changing trip to NY in 1998 and his return to the UK hooked up with long time musically minded friend Maurice Bird and “Mange Le Funk” was born. They have created quite a stir Djing and producing on the UK dance scene. Playing a mix of styles varying from original disco, US garage, funky house, Latin and tribal beats, their astounding DJ sets incorporate many elements taken direct from the recording studio, sampling, live percussion and live vocals and have been known to play long extended sets.
