DJ Ren was introduced to drum & bass around 1995-96, thrilled by the novelty and dynamism of the genre, felt she has finally found the music she was looking for. Found herself at the first d&b parties in the country and has been attending various gigs for years, listening to music, watching carefully every moves of the DJ’s. She has been waiting impatiently for the newest productions coming from overseas broadening her musical horizon. Around 1999 she got her first record which was Omni Trio’s remarkable album Byte Size Life in limited edition box set.

Early in the year 2001 borrowing decks and records she was trying to achieve what she was thinking of DJing by that time - soon she became obsessed with vinyls. Following a few gigs in smaller clubs in winter 2001 she was invited to the Nowsound promoted Ladies Night where she proved alongside Spice, Dazee and Jo Jo Rock that gentle sex is worthy of being part of the DJ comminity. In the following years she has been concentrating on her studies, meanwhile buying records and going to parties steadily, living together closely with the scene.

In 2004 she decided to start her radio show entitled Ren Radio Session on Torespont to present her ever-growing record collection including its not necessarily dancefloor-orientated pieces. Besides the prominent DJs of the local scene she hosted international guests like 0=0, Young Ax or Clever. With her arrival the team of the radio has got into its stride. Their work gained more recognition and became the no.1 only electronic music netradio in Hungary - which musical palette is ever broadening.

In the last years she got invites more often to play at Tilos Radio, the best-known Hungarian independent community FM radio, till last year she got her own weekly radioshow called Dzsungel Könyve (The Jungle Book) alongside DJ Cadik.
In the last 4-5 years due to the possibilities of the Internet Reni has been spotted by promoters home and abroad aswell, has gigs around Europe, in Austria, Germany, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, etc. In her country she is frequently in the line-up's of the most significant promoters, such us Bladerunnaz, Drum Club, Braindeath, Jungle Ball and IPC events. Also loves to play on the countryside, often coming back to Debrecen, Szeged, Kecskemét, Pécs, Eger, Baja and Gyöngyös. She played alongside DJ Storm, DJ Flight, Alley Cat, Logistics, Cyantific, Rohan, Fierce, Equinox, 0=0, Martyn, Dj Lee, Survival and many more. She was also asked to record exclusive studio mixes, so her sets can be found at the biggest hungarian drum & bass site Impulsecreator and on various promoter websites. In her freetime she uses every effort to contribute to the scene, to give it more publicity, writing for Impulsecreator and Freee magazine, and urging new talents, showcasing their tunes in her shows.

Ren's musical taste is wide-ranging, from the more broken, experimenting dnb to dancefloor orientated music wherewith she drives people crazy - she finds her taste in both. Her all-time favourites are Photek, Source Direct and Ed Rush & Optical, and from the beginning to the present days she keeps her eyes especially on the releases of Paradox, Dillinja, Marcus Intalex, Total Science (Q-Project), Calibre, Digital & Spirit, Jonny L, Loxy&Ink and Keaton. On her gigs besides the aforementioned names she prefers liquid funk, ie. Hospital and Soul:R releases, however when she's on the air she frequently plays tunes from Paradox, Fracture & Neptune, 0=0, Polska, Macc, Dj Trax, Seba, Equinox, Breakage, Fanu and ICR. Her repertoire has been lately widen with promising "new" artists like Instra:mental, Icicle, Proxima, Data, Mutt, Redeyes, Deep Inc, Martsman, NSF Crew, Theory, Bop & Dephecta, Cycom, Con.struct, Selector Moldy, Insight and so on.
