Occasionally, in a nostalgic mood,Dj Punish pulls out a happy hardcore track, since this genuine Dutch style still causes madness on the dance floor. They've always wanted to work more with this style but it would be strange to produce tracks exactly how they were created in the time of happy hardcore’s peak from the early 1990’s.
While having several talks with The Partysquad about a possible EP with happy hardcore influences and bits from the old masters, somehow a remake of the all-time classic named "Wonderful Days" became a very possible and strong idea.
“Wonderful Days 2012” is a remake- remix, if you will- with both elements from the original track (which already contains samples) and elements from modern day styles in the form of dubstep.
When the originator and one of the original producers, Mental Theo, heard about the idea, he was so excited that he wanted to get personally involved in the project himself!
