Risen and Resurrected from the ashes after a 6 year hiatus, and returning to form in 2010, DJ PHOENIX first released a free album 'Free and Easy' in early 2010. Upon receiving many positive responses on the album, DJ Phoenix decided to put out a more focused electronica album and released it in late 2010 via iTunes and CD Baby called 'From Scratch EP'.

Not one to slow down and let momentum or opportunity slip past his fingers, DJ PHOENIX released a full length experimental album consisting of Electronica and Orchestra related songs in an album (March 2011) called 'Off The Grid. The response has been overwhelming and extremely positive as people have stated to have been able to hear a story and evolution of style from the 1st album to the 3rd.'

DJ PHOENIX has spent years fine-tuning his music winning formula, in the only way he knows how, by feeling the vibe at some of the most popular DJ's in the world, and then dispensing musical epiphanies whenever he creates a song.

DJ PHOENIX started his music career in 2001, in a small club called 'One Eyed Jacks' in Airdrie, Alberta (Canada), playing gigs while in University. He was a part-time DJ at 'One Eyed Jacks' for 3 years before moving to Edmonton, Alberta from Calgary, Alberta to pursue a more stable career in Web Design and therefore took a hiatus from DJing and producing music at that time.

In late 2010, DJ PHOENIX then found the urge to create his own music instead of doing gigs, and the rest is...as they say... history.

In the electronica world, DJ PHOENIX is unstoppable. The last 2 years, has kept him at a frantic pace, in terms of music production, and music promotion, most recently being asked to provide a custom theme song for Oilers Nation Radio, Flames Nation Radio, and Jets Nation Radio for 1260AM Radio.

Simply unstoppable, 2010 was the reincarnation of DJ PHOENIX, 2012 is the rise of the PHOENIX, bringing you an energy that is totally, and uniquely, full of fire.
