Dj Peter H. Started djing at 18. The Usual, mates parties etc.... Got into the Rare groove scene at 20 playin for "Girls fm" Radio not really realising what I was gettin myself into Until my first pair of Technics entered my life.Strongly influenced by 80`s Funk I fell in love the likes of James Brown, Change, Roy Ayres, Maze, Chaka Khan, Brooklyn broncs & Queens, Unlimited Touch, the Brit funk movement (Level 42 etc) . Then House turned up. First off it was the likes of MAW, Victor Simonelli, Cloud 9, Eightball records, Stricty Rhythm, Groove On. The great British sound of "Nice and Ripe" The list go`s on & on. Well, All the music i loved up until then was getting looped, sampled etc and I was in my element. From the age of 21 I started leaving the djing at the bars and pubs and moved into clubs. The next 15 yrs I had the Great fortune of playing such clubs as The Cross, Club UK. But the most memorable places we`re the small local nights. The likes of MIddlesex and Herts and Buluga for Creme de la creme and who could forget the Nottiing hill Carnival parties "Suck it and See". Happy daze!!!!
