Born & bred in Leeds, Paul Murray was brought up on a healthy diet of illegal raves and acid house parties in the late 80's early 90's. He frequented places like Digbys, Rickys, The Gallery, The Warehouse, The infamous SOAK and KAOS parties (where he later DJ'd!) and of course the legendary Hacienda in Manchester.

In 1991 he was given the opportunity to jump on the decks back at a party and was hooked. He had always been into music from an early age and his influencies came from Soul, Funk & Disco whilst listening to early mixes of Larry Levan from the Paradise Garage, New York City.

Before long Paul was playing his unique blend of Funk, Disco & House at private parties, fashion shows & various VIP Shop & Bar openings including Elle Fashion House and celebrity hang out Teatro in Leeds.

In 1993 Paul was offered an exclusive Friday night residency at 'Up Yer Ronson' The Music Factory, Leeds where he gained his stripes as a leading House DJ playing alongside and gaining recognition from the likes of Sasha, Graeme Park, Paul Oakenfold, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, M-People & Sister Sledge to name just a few. He held the residency for 6 fun filled years of madness & wicked parties. Ask him now what was the highlight of his 6 years at 'Up Yer Ronson' and he'll tell you that every Friday was different and having clubbers actually coming to check his sets out rather than the so called 'big name' DJ's was a compliment and testament to the talent & ability he has to create a vibe only that man Muzzcroft could do.

He was rewarded with a residency at Amnesia, Ibiza in 1996 where his sets on the terrace alongside Brandon Block were legendary and rocked the crowds week in week out. From his residency at Amnesia came offers to guest DJ at some of the Islands biggest clubs including Pacha, Es Paradis & Manumission. Paul also hosted the pre-club parties at Cafe Mambo playing with some of the industries biggest DJ's including Roger Sanchez, DJ Sneak & Erick Morillo. Paul has continued to grace the magical white Isle and guested at clubs from 1997-2000 where he played at some amazing one off parties.

After 'Up Yer Ronson' closed in 1999, Paul secured a weekly residency at The Temple in Bolton alongside Tony Walker & Marc Dennis (One Foot In The Groove) playing to crowds of 3,000 mad clubbers in a purpose built club that was something never seen outside of Ibiza.

Paul also played on a regular basis for The Space & The Mint Club and put on various one off parties.

In May 2002 Paul moved to warmer climates and went to live in Marbella, southern Spain. When he got there the 'club scene' was nothing like what he had experienced in his elustrious DJ'ing career in the UK & Ibiza so he set about changing that. He put on his own unique parties under the name 'Boutique' where he would host parties in places like Restaurants and Beach Bars and transform them into a chic clubbing space for the night. As well as his own parties, Paul held residencies and DJ'd at Pangaea in Puerto Banus, Nikki Beach in Marbella & Miss Moneypenny's club nights.

Paul is back in Leeds playing his unique blend of Funk, Disco, Balearic Beats & House with the same energy and passion he had when he started dj'ing 20 years ago!
