Born in N.Y.C. in 1970, I come from a family of great musicians and artists. I started playing drums at a young age of 4 years old and by 7 i was playing a full drum kit in bands around my neighborhood. On the weekends my mother Joy would take me to play at shows around NYC where my father Victor Venegas was performing. I would be on the bandstand playing percussion instruments with famous musicians like, Johnny Pacheco, Candido, Dave Amram, Ray Baretto, Steve Berrios, Jerry Dodgen and many more. By 12 years old i didn't want to be in a band anymore so i began to dj, turntables and a mixer looked so futuristic, I WAS HOOKED! 25 years later and i still love pushing the envelope as a dj and rocking my sets for crowds all over the world.
In the last 15 years i have become a self taught studio producer and i like to spend my time learning new studio techniques. i enjoy researching new ways to get the music out of my body into a machine and through the speakers the way i originally heard it in my mind.
