Neo started off as a record shop
employee at his dad’s local record shop
in the Bronx, NY. It wasn’t till after
being asking by a regular customer to
spin a club gig did Neo become Dj
Neo. Playing at local reggae events and
house parties lead to side gigs at school
fundraisers and city car shows. In 2006
Neo landed a residency gig with the
corporate car company Scion (Toyota).
This involved the relocating from New
York City to the city of San Francisco,
CA. And thus Dj Neo24 was born.
This position lasted 3 strong years. And with it came great opportunities of expansion.
With gigs raging from the extreme sporting event/competition known as “Icer Air”
hosted by E-Surance, to the ice sculpting rap party for the release of the “Sony
PlayStation 3” gaming console. Neo’s skills and “all-age” diversity make him a fun
sensational entertainment hit at all events and parties.
It was also with the creation of N24 Entertainment (Dj entertainment company) did Neo
prove himself to be a great business personnel and self-starter. N24 Ent. was designed to
pair Dj’s with corporate clients that are involved in the club and nightlife industry
(clients i.e. DC shoes, W hotel, Apple inc)
In early 2008 Neo was crowned champion at the “How Weird street fair” Dj competition.
And in 2010 Neo was also renowned San Francisco’s number 1 endurance Dj after
attempting the Guinness World Record for the longest Dj marathon. An event involved
in summing the strength to Dj for more than 120hrs. But after closer analysis Neo was
unfortunately disqualified from international crediting due to only achieving only 109hrs
of Dj’ing time.
On his return to NYC in 2010, Neo is to be currently working with local artists and Dj’s
on new and current music projects. And is said to be working on the beginning on a new
form of entertainment company which will link fans and artists, with a main goal in
giving back with assistance to nations that are struck by provety and national disasters.
Like most Dj’s the power of music is said to be what drives Neo and his ambitions.
