INFO: Mykris (Born on November 12th 1986 in Paris, France) is a DJ/Producer with strong artistic roots who has spent his teenage years on music. When he was just fifteen, he moved to Spain where he began playing music at various city pubs. That was when he got his first break, with the chance to DJ at the biggest club in Cuenca, Spain, Noctropolis.
In 2007, aged just 20, he traveled to Miami where he began studying at Scratch DJ Academy. There, he was awarded no fewer than 6 DJ and Production diplomas (DJ 101, DJ 151, DJ 152, DJ 202, BM 101, BM 202). This achievement was made possible by the intensive tutoring given him by his teacher Jamie Keogh (winner of DMC ONLINE USA 2011, finalist at DMC ONLINE WORLD 2011 and winner of DMC SOUTHEAST REGIONAL 2011).
In March 2011, he played for the first time at Miami’s ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL. And on the very same day, became a resident of ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL, the world’s biggest and best electronic music festival awarded by International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) for the best electronic music event in 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.
In October of the same year, he played at “Space Ibiza” (IDMA winner for the world’s best club in 2011 and 2012). For the 2012 edition, he gained residence at Space’s annual ‘’Closing Fiesta’’ with ULTRA IBIZA and opened for Danny Avila on the legendary Space Terrace.
Mykris, with energetic, high quality musical sessions, undeniable charisma and his unremitting effort to please his audiences make him a hit wherever he goes. This young DJ has shared the Dj booth and billing with top national and international artists such as: Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Fedde Le Grand, Markus Schulz, Richie Hawtin, Juanjo Martin, Wally Lopez, Danny Avila, Rodrigo Vieira & Ferris, Mark Ursa, and Paul Darey to name just a few.
With residences established in Miami and Ibiza, Mykris now has new projects in the works, including important collabs with UMF Radio (associated with SiriusXM and Digitally Imported) where he shared a radio program with Markus Schulz (9th among the Top 100 DJs of The Year ranking published by the British magazine DJ MAG). Mykris continues to delight and freak out electronic music-lovers with mixing sessions that combine Progressive House, Electro House, Funky/Tech House and House with deep melodies that make every dance floor dance the night away.
