Born on the tiny volcanic island of Reunion /where the Indian, African, Chinese and French have lived together for centuries, MR FISH can’t help but blend cultures with heat in his DJ sets...MR FISH invites you to experience a global merging of the musical landscape.

Meeting guru DJ Eric Soul in London -an amazing Rwandan DJ from a family of Divas and father of the famous “groov’n’bass/AFROGROOV” movement who passionately promote a new generation of African music- marked a turning point for MR FISH. Invited to join this movement, MR FISH incorporated African rhythms with hip hop grooves and scratching techniques into his sets. In events such as, RESPECT FESTIVAL 2000-01 with a line up including U-cef and De-La-Soul, and NOTTING HILL CARNIVALS 2000-2004, TECHNO PARADE 2003 (PARIS) (alongside kojak , alex kid, dj cam ..)LONG ISLAND CLUB NIGHT(BUDAPEST) , MR FISH truly expressed his more eclectic self.
MR FISH used technical skill and his extensive collection of world influenced tunes to keep people grooving outside the chart territory…It opened doors to the eclectic London bar scene such as MOMO'S, residency at the famous COBDEN CLUB . 2 yearsResidency at HARRY’S SOCIAL CLUB , who were so inspired by his music they created a label and signed him to HARRY’S RECORDS. He then contacted two rare talents (and friends), Worldwide Talent Search winner 2008 EMILIE CHICK and heavily multitalented producer d.a.t.a (SON OF KICK) to collaborate on an opus...
On his arrival to Australia MR FISH rapidly developed a reputation as a special and original talent,and went on to play at BIG DAY OUT FEST 2007&2010 , MELBOURNE AFROBEAT FEST 2007..He also got noticed by UBERLINGUA and asked to join forces with the australian crew..He immediately featured in events such as BELLIGEN GLOBAL FEST 2007, SYDNEY FEST 2008 and 2009, he also opened the main stage of ADELAIDE FRINGE FEST 2008, SOCCO CARGO 2008.Supported MO'HORIZON @ prince of whales2008 and PUBLIC OPINION ORCHESTRA 2010, he performed for the second time @ BIG DAY OUT2010 and supported FEMI KUTI @ the AUSTRALASIAN WORLD MUSIC EXPO 2010 and EMMANUEL JAL 2011 (south sudan)...A regular on australian world music events WORLD MUSIC EXPO 2009 ,2010 and 2012 , radio shows (P.B.S/ S.B.S,RRR), MR FISH is also tirelessly and passionately promoting the new urban sounds of africa !!!
