After running a punk/ska/worldbeats music magazine 2003-2007 and doing radio in Berlin and Barcelona, plus writing for other magazines, Mohak started her DJ career in Barcelona in 2007 playing at places such as Sala Apolo, Sidecar and Fellini. Always with a focus on global sounds and a mix of beats and bass, she went on to do mash-up creating a bridge between roots and electronic music. As a multi-lingual polyglott, she has lived in Belgium, Spain and Austria, being based in Berlin now, and has travelled all over performing in festivals and clubs in Berlin, Barcelona, London, Budapest, Vienna, Bern, Poland, including Popkomm Festival, Fusion, Femelek Barcelona, 4 Elements Graz, as well as NYC´s Nublu and Rubulat and just recently in Morocco. She is known for her upbeat eclectic mix, spanning bridges between otherwise unconnected genres, regardless of the bpm. Furthermore she is founder and designer of IF THE KIDS Records and part of re.titled / Impulse crew in Berlin.

Expect the unexpected, it won´t be just one genre! Recently ranging from oriental Bass, Glitch, Uk Funky and dark Techno to Tribal House and Latin Tech. However, musical roots are the base for everything that follows and should never be forgotten, so the spirit is this: Punk, Club Raves & Salsa!
