About
Mike Deuce wasn't always Miami's alpha DJ, spinning at the two most notorious and respected downtown club nights, Fridays at the Vagabond and Saturdays at Grand Central's Mr. X. The 27 year old's thirst for high decibels began as a prepubescent Miami metal-head, chugging out gigantic riffs with various local bands in dingy, low lit, off-the-map venues. He began to hone in on his DJ destiny over six years ago at various house parties. Not long after, he gained his first official club residency at Miami's notorious weekly party, SpiderPussy at PS 14, and has since been destroying dance floors with his unrelenting penchant for making anyone within earshot dance their hearts out. Deuce has pounded the sound systems at LIV at Fontainebleau Resort, White Room, Electric Pickle, Bar, Rokbar, Pawn Shop Lounge, and Studio A, and shared billing with international acts like Busy P, Green Velvet, LA Riots, Classixx, Drop The Lime, Treasure Fingers, Major Lazer, Erol Alkan, Larry Tee, and more. Miami New Times, the city's alternative weekly, describe his heavy-but-diverse sound as "the well-rounded sound of a song-slinger as adept at being in the place to be as at making wherever he is just where it's at." It's been a quick rise for Mike Deuce and his golden touch is sure to keep him firmly planted among Miami's top bass-dropping heavyweights.
