More than “just another DJ”, he reigns as a highly requested djs and remixers in the United States. Just about every radio mix show DJ nationwide has either heard of or plays a track from this 29 year-old’s remix arsenal. His musical range is very extensive, ranging from just about anything and everything, pulling inspiration from all factions of genres. Known for maintaining a fresh atmosphere and sound that clients and patrons love to hear, his swag and ambition for making the party hot also shines through in his work… sometimes literally! (he has been known to set records on fire… Heat Baby!)
Currently walking the roles as a head mixer at Power 104.3 with weekly mixshows as well as the head dj at Zanzabar Nightclub in Waikiki, he is known for making it a “Mike D” type of party. During his career, he has worked with many of Hawaii’s top promoters: Flash and Matty, Ray Jr., Rick Rock Productions, and Artist Groove Network, just to name a few. Not only “just working” at many night clubs, he is known for hisreputation of bringing the party and making it his own.
Mike D has done shows with many artists such as Rihanna, Raven Symone, Common, Ying Yang Twinz, Tommy Lee, Biz Markie, Ray J, DJ Rectangle, America’s Best Dance Crew Super Cr3w & Supreme Soul, and many more.
Always creating that fresh new vibe and style, his ever growing remix collection has featured many platinum artists, including artists Justin Timberlake, Usher, Chris Brown, Ciara and David Guetta. Local artistinclude B.E.T, for Hawaii’s version of “Billionaire” done in true remix fashion.
