Matt Moore (officially known as: Matt Wolach) was born and raised in Miami, FL. At age 6, Matt began taking piano lessons and by age 10, he was playing multiple instruments. Graduating with Honors from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music, the path was clear and the objective was set. Producing music was to become not only a career, but a way of life.
Matt interned for Miami’s number one Latin Record Label “Top Stop Music” under the tutelage of Sergio George. His wide-range of musical experience from classical music to hip-hop to pop has been the key to his unique sound.
In the summer of 2011, Matt became infatuated with making his own electronic music. Through the help of his brother, who is an open format DJ, Matt studied and practiced the craft of using CDJs to enhance his mixing skills. With only 9 months of experience, Matt began making bootlegs and remixes that were slowly impressing the right people.
On January 27, 2012, Matt Moore’s Remix to “What Can I Say” was released on iTunes and Amazon. As far as exposure and image, it provided him an open door to the music industry. ”What Can I Say” (Matt Moore Remix) was debuted at the 2012 Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Following the success of his first remix, Matt began working with many established artists in the Electronic Dance scene such as: Zashanell, Gianni Marino, DJ Obscene, Jay Rox, Chris Valencia, Mike Russell, etc.
Matt Moore is rapidly becoming one of the world’s biggest up-and-coming DJs under the genres of Electro & Progressive House. His signature sound includes a melodic vocal presence, killer electro baselines, huge climaxes, and melodic synths that fall perfectly into place to create a next level euphoric feeling.
In 2012, Matt Moore will be releasing his own original tracks and remixes on Beatport/iTunes/Amazon through a multitude of successful EDM labels. Make sure to keep up with this energetic 22 year-old from Miami as he pushes his way into the EDM industry.
