Recently named one of "America's Best Local DJs" by URB Magazine, DJ Kevlar has carved out a niche as one of New York City's most electric party rockers, mixing a delectable blend of hip-hop, reggae, soul, funk, breaks, house and global grooves, from Latin flavors to Afro-beats to Indian vibrations. The Buffalo native/Brooklyn resident has invaded New York staples like BB Kings, Brooklyn Bowl, APT, Joe's Pub, Mercury Lounge, The Knitting Factory, Le Royale and Mehanata Bulgarian Bar, and can currently be seen rocking Toque Thursdays in Bembe in Brooklyn. Kevlar has gigged across the world, bringing his funky flavor to dancefloors in countries like Germany, Czech Republic and New Zealand.
