JEPPO an Italian Dj/Performer based in Ischia, who fell in Love with the music at the age of 8 when his parents put him in front of a pentagram and a piano keyboard and asked him what it was and what he could do with it: He shocked them with a straight answer: I don't know what it is but let's start playing. The coincidence wanted that in concomitance with the solfeggio's lessons he visited a friend and walked by 2 turntables... all of a sudden the melody and the rhythm had a meeting point in his mind. He still remembers that moment like it just happened yesterday but in reality he went through a long evolution made of suffering and happiness.
Today he doesn't describe himself as a dj but as a big music lover which includes being a dj, a clubber, a traveller and a hard worker too. Over the course of his career he travelled the world to follow his passion, playing in many international locations especially in the last 5 years.
You can find him playing chill out on a terrace or Deep house on a beach, tech house in small venues or Techno in big rooms, always with soul, vocals, percussions and groove, contaminations that he always had brought with him since he discovered electronic music.
He has developed his style being part of the party scene in Napoli, in Ibiza, in new York and Miami, being influenced by all the djs that he followed around the globe such as Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Davide Squillace, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones and Last but not last he really sculpted his style listening and being very close to the Maestro Danny Tenaglia who gave him the opportunity to be his familiar friend and tour with him sometimes. Danny Tenaglia Mentioned him in his last compilation FUTURISM released in 2008 on Tommyboy records.
He is now part of Nightife Regeneration Music, a group of djs who trow events with big artists and try to show their love for the music as much as possible.
He is working now on a EP with Macrotech, an italian dj/producer who has already came out with some jem on different labels.
It will be his first release and he hopes it can be done within 2011.
Philosophy

E' la filosofia che mi spinge senza freni ad amare questo elemento naturale, la musica, l'arte del generare, manipolare, combinare suoni che secondo determinate leggi fisiche, risposte fisiologiche e convenzioni formali, esprimono e suscitano uno stimolo fisico ed emotivo chiamato DANCE.
La interpetro a modo mio me ne servo cercando di regalare emozioni, sorrisi, espressioni, colori e soprattutto per sentirmi libero.
La musica è una rivelazione più profonda di ogni saggezza. Chi penetra il senso della Musica potrà liberarsi da tutte le miserie in cui si trascinano gli altri uomini.

It's the philosophy that leads me to love without brakes this natural element, the music, the art of generating, manipulating, combining sounds, according to certain laws of physics, physiological responses and formal conventions, gives rise to a physical and emotional stimulation called DANCE.
I translate the music in my way and I use it, trying to give emotions, smiles, expressions, colors, and set myself free.
The music is a deeper revelation of all wisdom. Who gets the sense of music will be free from all the miseries in which the other men drag themselves.
