With over 16 years of experience, Jack is one of the most influential names on the Brazilian trance and progressive scene. Also a producer, he was nominated as “Revelation Producer” at the 2008 DJ Sound Mag Awards and as a result, is earning more international recognition. Music produced by Jack is included on the playlists of artists such as Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Andy Moor, Marcel Woods, John O'Callaghan, Flash Brothers, Agnelli & Nelson, Solarstone, Eddie Halliwell, and many others. He has produced recordings for Maelstrom (UK), Spinnin’ (HOL), Five AM (UK), Fraction Records (UK), Bonzai (BE), Discover Dark (UK), Bralli Records (BR) and 40º Degrees Records (UK). In 2009, Jack released his first compilation of dance tracks, entitled “Energy BR presents Global Concept”, in conjunction with the Factor 4 and Armada labels.
Jack is the founder and keeper of the website Energy BR, the first ever to specialize in trance and progressive music in Brazil. The purpose is to present the varied styles and types of trance. He also created the State of Trance parties, pioneer in the country which focus on trance and progressive styles. Through these events, he has become a major influence across the country and was able to lineup Ali Wilson, Johan Gielen, Sean Tyas, Menno de Jong e BT (Brian Transeau), at major clubs such as Anzu (SP), Pacha (SP) and Club Nox (PE).
Finally, in 2010, after a year as label manager for another recording company, Jack founded his own – Energy BR Records, to increase his own exposure as well as the names of other performers and producers of trance and progressive trance. After only a few months, the label is already an international hit, and has earned support by recognized artists worldwide.
As a DJ, Jack’s career took off in August, 2000, when he was a finalist during the 1st ever Brazilian electronic music DJ contest : Space Jungle – Hypnotic.
In 2004, Jack was among the 12 Brazilian DJ’s who qualified to participate in Found@Thirst, sponsored by Heineken Brazil. That year, he was also invited to be a contributor to Beatz Magazine and the rraurl.com website, the largest leader of electronic music in Latin America, for which he produces the iTrance podcast. For over 5 years (2004 to 2009), Jack was a resident at Pure DJ, one of the most popular webradio sites in Holland where he earned his own time slot, playing renowned musicians including Andy Moor, Cor Fijneman, Ronski Speed, DJ Shah, Pedro del Mar, Leon Bolier e Joop.
In recognition of his efforts, he was invited to be the resident DJ during the Supernova project at the Club Lov.e in 2007 and has travelled the country playing at the best clubs and largest parties in Brazil with international artists like Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Sean Tyas, Kyau & Albert, Marcel Woods, Ali Wilson, Johan Gielen, George Acosta, Menno de Jong, Ed Real, AJ Gibson, Juan Atkins, Ade Fenton, to name a few.
