The New York born, South Florida raised Hijinx is a rising E.D.M artist in the ever-growing Dubstep scene of South Florida. Rich aka Hijinx began his musical odyssey when he was only 15 years old, when he attended underground warehouse raves and parties. Intrigued by the DJs’ musical flow, styles, influences, and the way they could bring a party to its knees, Hijinx immediately knew that he wanted to be a part of a growing worldwide culture. Soon thereafter, the young and enthusiastic Hijinx was out on his own making an impact on his local scene!

Rapidly gaining credit for utterly mutilating venues, by his blending of high energy raw in-your-face style sets, Hijinx has been massing an increasing fan base and has grown in popularity as one of Miami’s favorites in the electronic music scene. By spinning with some of the genres best and most talented, including but not limited to: Marco V, Klass, Donald Glaude, Knife Party, Sluggo, Hulk, Mantis, Mochipet, Nerd Rage, Mt. Eden, Designer Drugs, Figure, Evol Intent, Obsidian, Calvertron, Helicopter Showdown, Halo Nova, Kryteria, Bunny, Oscar G, Cato K, Riva Starr, Hydros, and Super-Genius, and by co-hosting events with many local favorites such as Mister Gray, Hxly, Juan Basshead, Somejerk, Supreme1, Docta Dawe, and Aramis Vega, Hijinx has firmly established his place as one of Miami’s best.

Soon, as his hard work and determination began to pay off, Hijinx was invited to perform at several major venues and festivals throughout Florida and New York, the most recent being the Winter Music Conference in Miami, including Ultra Music Festival, Sunset Music Festival, Lights Out Music Festival, Electronic Daisy Music Festival (Orlando), and Dub Factory. Earning tremendous support from not only Miami locals, he has also earned the strong and loyal support of crowds throughout Florida, New York, and California. This is because of the respect he has gained for his talent and his consistently high-energy shows and wild antics, never leaving the crowd displeased. Hijinx’s main aim is to keep playing shows and making crowds happy while strengthening his name throughout the industry. And that’s exactly what he has done.

His first releases in Heavy Artillery on Beatport in 2012 with good friend Invader! charted him in the top 50 of the top 100 charts for drumstep/drum & bass. Hijinx is not a show to miss and is not a name to ever forget, as he strives to solidify himself as one of the world’s best in the EDM scene!
