Following the original design for deejaying, where taking people on a musical journey was as equally important as 'cold rockin' the party', Gavin's eclectic approach to music and turntablist roots empower him to seamlessly switch genres, connecting the dots between Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, R&B, House, & Techno.

He is known for his smooth yet technical style and passion for soulful music. Shedding light on quality, soulful, underground music is what he lives for.  This is exemplified by his side project 'Soul Has No Tempo', which brings his passion for music to a wider audience through local parties, events and online broadcasts.

Having already played in Amsterdam, Philippines, Sri Lanka, & Maldives, Gavin's reputation and versatility on the 1's & 2's also consistently see him opening shows for respected artists, such as Pete Rock, Mos Def, ?uestlove and Julio Bashmore to name a few.
