Her roots in non-commercial radio and writing as a journalist for URB magazine for 10 years rooted her in the tradition of breaking new music and the passionate delivery of cross-genre sets. When she’s not traveling to play, she’s busy keeping a pulse on everything new and exciting and navigates diverse genres and venues, alike. Her current interests are Tropical, Low End, 2-step, New Soul, Lovestep and Soulful house. Eko’s main interest in the music world is finding out where soul and electronic intersect and projecting that outwards, far and wide.
