DJ Dysfunkshunal is without a doubt one of the greatest turntablists Belgium has ever known. His unique style of blending hip-hop, r&b, electro, house, dancehall, reggae, soul & funk while incorporating his outstanding turntablist skills is what distinguishes him from most other DJ’s.

As a member of the Killa Tactics crew he travelled across the globe, entering DJ championships in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, London & Amsterdam. DJ Dysfunkshunal managed to win the Belgian ITF & DMC battle 5 times, holds the ITF Benelux 2000 Champ title and owns 2 vice-worldchampion titles: needless to say that he paid his dues in the international DJ battle scene.

Nowadays, you can find him at the biggest events such as Laundry Day, TMF Coolsweat, Flavor, Fresh2Def, Heads High & P.I.M.P. and at clubs like Noxx, Mondial (NL), Petrol & Culture Club. He already played at the afterparties from international superstars like Lil’ Wayne, De La Soul, Rahzel [The Roots], The Furious Five, Guru [Gangstarr], Grandmaster Flash, Capone-n-Noreaga, GZA/Genius [Wu-Tang Clan] and Method Man & Redman.

DJ Dysfunkshunal’s talent didn’t stay unnoticed by the local media, which led to several appearances on national TV shows such as “Cool Sweat” (TMF) / “Facts” (TMF) / “411” (JimTV) / “Going Out” (Jim TV) / “Het Journaal” (EEN) / “Studio Ket” (Canvas) / “Villa Vanthilt” (EEN) & most recently “Fetes De La Musique concert” (RTBF La Deux).

His talent was also noticed in other countries and continents. This led to performances in New York City (BB King Blues Club & Santos Party House) / China (Mix Club) / Italy (Gusto Dopa Festival) / Germany (Club Gleis9 & Club Nachtschicht).

Like many other DJ’s, Dysfunkshunal also made the logical transition from DJ to music producer. The video for the track “Coupe Le Verbe En Deux” featuring Akro & Leki reached over 1000 000 online views, and was in high rotation on TMF, JimTV & MCM. He also produced tracks for artists like Bay-B Da Kid, Juz Kiddin & Rival, Jesse Al Malik (Furious 5) & Agallah Don Bishop (Dipset).
