However, he isn’t just a prominent figure when it comes to Perth’s R&B and hip hop scene. Don Migi is a major player in helping to raise the awareness of Perth’s Latino scene to the masses in Australia. Recognised as one of the Top 5 Latino DJs in the nation, Don Migi established the first major Latino night in WA at the turn of the century, pulling over 1000 people every week.
Throughout the last 10 years of his career, Don Migi has firmly solidified his position as one of Perth’s top and most popular DJs, gaining wide recognition for his R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, and hip hop sets at some of the biggest urban brands and club nights.
These clubs include Base Lounge, Margeaux's Nightclub, Ruby Room, Varga Lounge, Toucan Club, Orsini’s, Bon Bonet, Soul City, The Globe, Club Fiesta, The CoCocobana, Marble Bar, Metro City, and The Pallas, to name just a few.
Currently you can find The Don on the decks at Eve Nightclub on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday nights, Minq Bar & Lounge on Sundays, as well as The Deen’s infamous Latino night on Thursdays.
To add to this The Don has also spread the word and music of hip hop, R&B and reggaeton to the masses through the airwaves, presenting the Blok Party and Latin Mixmasters on Groove 101.7fm. The shows were so successful they found a place on Hitz FM in Malaysia as well.
