Diego Miranda is part of a generation that left its mark in the Portuguese dance music scenario.
Winning the Dance Club and Portugalnight magazines Best Newcomer Dj Award in 2006 and 2007 took Diego Miranda to a new level and he keeps going.
The artist, is the official dj for the Baccardi tours, he has 2 labels at his charge (Labrynth and New Breed), and still produces at his studio.
Diego Miranda did as well several compilations, as "Olá Love 2 Dance" (2006), "Portugalnight" (2007) and "Ministry of Sound" (2008), where the first two became gold records!
On the other side, regarding big events, he is always cherished by them, like MTV Shakedown, 4 Editions of Olá Love2Dance, Sunrise Festival, Dance in Douro, CreamFileds Lisbon, , Rock in Rio Portugal (2008 & 2010) and Sensation White Portugal (2009 & 2010). In all this events he had the chance to play with renowned international DJ´s.
In the meantime Diego had the opportunity to play in countries like England, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Brazil, Angola, Egypt and Russia.
These are some of the activities that this restless DJ does with success. Proof of it, are his themes that were worldwide top sales and become national hits like: “Ibiza for Dreams” (Vidisco), “Tania” (4Kenzo), “Just Fly” (Vidisco), "When You Come" (Mue Records) and "Sim City" (Iberican Recordings).
His sets are flavoured with a bit of everything, from the hardest beats to the vocal hits, all backed up in a solid rhythmic base with tribal and progressive influences. Depending on the atmosphere, Diego Miranda makes use of styles such as Deep and Funky House, being his main goal to wow, his audience. He stands out for his refined musical selection allied to a perfect mixing technique.
In this way, he makes his sets richer and transforming at each gig, all due to the several music influences.
Diego has become an consistent artist in the Portugese "Dance Scene", as much as A DJ as well as a producer, he is, without any doubts, one of the big promises of the Dance Music International as a reference for what’s to come.
