DJ Dave van Breemen began his career in the clubs at the age of 16. By winning several DJ contests in the region, he was labeled as an emerging talent and vinyl-artist. Through much to watch and listen to DJs from the region (Bobby Burns, Andy Cu), his skills became better and better. After gigs at Defqon 1 Talents (a very big party in the Netherlands) and the concert of Idols-star Hind Laroussi (finalist for a Dutch TV show), Dave was the rising star.
In 2005, there was his first release "Bijvanck East EP", of which many were sold worldwide on vinyl. With this release Dave got help from the former Headhunterz. The current remixes and bootlegs from Dave to be play by none other than DJ Jean, Robaco Bossa, Chuckie and DJ Veron. And, even on the Dutch radiostation Slam FM.
In 2008 Dave performed in a huge house DJ-contest. After playing some catchy housetunes he won some battles and a few rounds. In the final he beat 5 great DJ`s. In corporation with and in good company of MC Choral the roof was on fire. After the 6 dj`s, the jury had to make a difficult decision. But in the end the jury with DJ Veron, Youri Donatz, Robert Feelgood and Crunc Agency`s Niels Perrier announced Dave as the winner of the contest. After that, Dave was asked for some great gigs.
In 2010 his remix of Ben Wasted - Windows was a huge release on a Spanish label, Harkee. The song was played by several big named DJs across the world.
Dave was also resident at Club Silverdome (former 538-I Dance, Reds) in Huizen, the Netherlands. But after that he got his own club night "House Classics" (DJ Jose, Melvin Reese, Fedde le Grand) allocated in Club S7ven in Huizen. Unfortunately, it was curtains for S7ven Club, after several years' existence.
Furthermore, DJ Dave van Breemen placed at various locations in the Netherlands for its spinning skills. De Rechter in Eindhoven, he was with DJ Jose and blowed up the speakers. And of course Madhouse at Club Panama, Amsterdam (DJ Jean, Hardwell, Tony Cha Cha, Eric van Kleef), DJ Dave van Breemen joined the lineup. And, he is not unknown abroad. So Dave played several times in Aruba and Turkey.
DJ Dave van Breemen is heard weekly on Fuddle Dance Radio. Here he is on Saturday nights to listen to his radio program "The 50 Minutes of Fame" to his eponymous mixtape series. Both the show and the mixtape will be well received by the public.
