About

Cut-up quickly learned the art of mixing at the young age of 13 and it wasn’t long until he had a regular slot on an internet radio station (hcore.fm) at the age of 14.
He then went on to win Hcore.fm’s number 1 Hard Dance Dj award 2010 & 2011 and also played at hcore.fm events where he played his biggest booking b2b with Miss Special K.

With the end of hcore.fm Cut-Up moved onto a new internet radio station – www.dancetransmission.com playing Hard Dance every Wednesday 6-7pm.

At 16, after producing for just under a year Cut-Up got in the studio with hard dance’s number 1 producer – Technikal, their track ‘Scrapyard’ was released on Technikal Recordings on the 31st of October 2011 and was featured on the Tidy compilation CD Hard House Heaven.
With support from Cally Gage and Sam & Deano aka Tidy Dj’s on the album and Radio 1 air play from Kutski the track shot straight to the number 1 spot on the Track It Down Hard Dance Top 100.

This was just the start as shortly after being in the studio with Technikal Cut-Up got his first solo release and became a Cheeky Tracks Artist with his second release ‘Define’ coming out on Cheeky Tracks on the 9th of December 2011.
The Cheeky Boys say 'Ben Ullathorne AKA "Cut Up" is already creating a stir in the hard dance world, collaborating with the mighty Technikal on his track "Scrapyard" which featured on Kutski's Radio 1 show. His debut release on Cheeky Tracks is just pure hard electro from start to finish. Fans of the new style of hard dance will love this!'

As a multi-genre producer it wasn’t long until Cut-Up made his way into the Uk Hardcore scene this time teaming up with a good friend and fellow producer – Burnout with their track ‘All Of This’ due for release on In Your Head Records in the new year.

With a new year ahead and a lot of fresh projects and collabs in mind I hope things keep going as well as they have so far for me.

Thank you to everyone that has shown their support!

Cut-Up Ben Ullathorne, Poole, Britain (UK)
