Producing and Djing under the monikers LosBPMS and DjBlazGallegos,
Blaz Gallegos is a dynamic Music Producer / DJ known for his energy and style. Spinning and creating Dirty House, NuDisco, Indie, Electro, Techno, and House Music, Blaz delivers pounding beats and irresistible hooks to captivate his crowd.
A West Coast fixture, Gallegos produced legendary events like Gallery X, CHUPA, Funktion, Groove, The Red Room, and Fro-N-Down in the underground club scenes of Los Angeles and Phoenix, creating events which helped launch the careers of Eddie Amador, Sandra Collins, Z-Trip, and Markus Schulz.
As a Los Angeles-based DJ, Blaz has recently played with the likes of Eddie Amador and David Alvarado, and has hosted some of LA’s largest events and nightclubs, such as Mountain, Nissei Week, and the Variety Arts Center, and the wrap parties for Larry Clark’s Bully (with Bijou Phillips and Michael Pitt for Muse Films), and London (with Jessica Biel and Chris Evans for Sony Pictures).
As resident DJ at The Standard downtown, Gallegos had the privilege of bringing down the house for thousands of revelers at back-to-back New Years Eve celebrations. He has played at some of the most exclusive and energetic clubs, including DJ AM’s LAX, Elevate, J-Lounge, and the legendary Room in Hollywood.
A music producer, Gallegos created the seminal dance tracks “Work It” and “Free” for Eddie Amador’s Mochico label, and “Feel It” for The Bondservants, with Kevin Jaramillo. Blaz’s remixes can be heard on the radio and in the largest nightclubs around the world. He has worked on “Knobbers” for Crockers, &Up for Boys Noise, and his Bootleg remix of Steve Aoki’s “I’m In The House” has become an industry standard in global dance culture.
Inspired by the sounds, sights, and delights of the nightlife, Gallegos makes music and programs his sets specifically for the pleasures of the scene. “My goal,” says DJ Blaz, “is to pull you off the barstool and make you want to dance.”
