Official member of a BumsQuad DJz. Hip hop / urban DJ since 1991. Started the first hip hop parties in Latvia in 90’s together with emcees Ozols and Gustavo. AI-VA was involved in taste making and rhythmic development of the dance floor almost everywhere in Baltics. Has played for crowds of 25 000. 200+ events a year.

AI-VA played with: Lord Jazz, Scratchator, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Premier, Cash Money, etc, and with many more live acts. Has played numerous sets at festivals, night clubs, bars and parties. Currently a resident in Latvia’s biggest and most popular night club: „Essential”. AI-VA has did tours in many countries including neighboring Lithuania and Estonia, USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, UK, N.Ireland, Germany, Finland, France, Spain, etc. DJ tours around USA and Europe. Played in biggest Baltic States festivals: Ung08 (Sweden), MTV B-day, Positivus, Moonlight Party, Tele 2 Baltic Beach Party, BBQ XXL (France), etc.

Since 2000, DJ AI-VA is producing weekly hip hop radio show: THE REMIX SHOW with guests varying from Fatman Scoop to Grandmaster Flash and runs a music school for djs and producers: Rhythm Institute. Has released various mixtapes, sponsored by Converse, Red Bull, Cosmopolitan, Nokia, Unilever; did remixes for Kanye West, Jurassic 5, Andre 3000 (Outkast), The Cataracs, Busta Rhymes, Kelis, etc.
