Adsorb aka Adam Dowding has been Djing since the early nineties but over the last 10 years has been pushing the boundaries with his unique style of Breakbeat/Electro House and has featured at some of the Worlds most infamous clubs and festivals.
He set up and managed the award winning recording studio in 2000 Kenwood Studios in Sheffield UK, working with artists such as Dizzee Rascal, who's album 'Boy In Da Corner' went on to win the Mercury Music prize, Jazzy Jeff, Roots Manuva, Nightmares On Wax, to name just a few and also fine tuning his production skills alongside in house engineer Toddla T. Adsorb then headed South to Brighton where he linked up with breakbeat head honcho Krafty Kuts and Skool Of Thought, he formed a tight residency at Supercharged for a number of years and started DJing alongside Krafty as his support DJ of choice.
Alongside his releases for labels such as Against The Grain, Westway, Breakin Even, Toastclub Recordings and remixing the likes of Deekline & Wizard, Splitloop, Access Denied, Two Fresh and ATFC, Adsorb is always pushing boundaries with his re-edits and mash-ups, heavily supported by Annie Nightingale on Radio 1 and many DJs World-wide.
He was nominated at the 2009 International Breakbeat awards as Best Breakthrough DJ, he has toured throughout the UK alongside Krafty Kuts, DJ'd alongside the Stanton Warriors, Plump DJs, Cash Money, Pendulum, Freestylers, Rahzel to name just a few, had his first Radio 1 DJ mix aired twice as it was favoured as one of the best mixes of the year and was featured in DJ magazine as one of the hottest DJ's to watch out for in 2009.
Adsorb has completed two solo tours of Australia 2009/2010, has featured numerous times at the legendary Bed Supperclub in Bangkok as a headline act, featured alongside Krafty Kuts as part of his Asia tour and also the Stanton Warrors as part of their Stanton Sessions Asia tour. Most recently Adsorb has played alongside Cash Money at Pontoon in Phnom Penh Cambodia, is currently extending his DJ shows across Asia/Australia and the East and also hitting the European shores this year at select events showcasing his new material.
