Born through the sound of music.Every movement in my life is powered only by my drive to accomplish two goals: Become the epitome of music and create a musical Nexus.

I'm Dwayne Edwards, a graduate of Apple Valley High School and a current student at Globe University, in Lakeville. Throughout my time attending AVHS, I discovered a way to enhance my skills in the thing I love the most, music! Taking on the name, neXus, I have been contributing to performances in and out of school. Due to my love for all types of music, I have been asked by different styles of dancers (Cathy Wright, Julian Hines, Marcus Simmons, Trae Sims and many other dancers around MN), to either help with music selection, song remixes, or making songs from scratch for their performances. Whichever the job, they were always very impressed with my finished product! I have recently been working with a producer (Donnell Murphy), who took me under his wing and taught me many valuable lessons. Ones that have helped me enhance my DJing skills greatly. Now I am looking to get back out there, utilize these new skills and connect with different schools and dancers across Minnesota. I have new software, technology, and a remixing studio in my room as well as access to Donnell's studio for vocalist recording of any genre. I really want to put them to good use. I have been researching and trying to find different people who might need my services. If possible, I would greatly appreciate an opportunity to schedule a time to meet and discuss any questions you may have for me. I'm still trying to determine a price, but that can also be negotiated during the meeting. I have a tremendous passion for both music and dance. I would love to be considered as ‘the man who gets the chance to fulfill his name, neXus, and do just that between the two, create a connection.
