About

Bio
Manoj emerged in 1991 as one of the pioneering event producers in the NW electronic dance culture. Producing a multitude of successful gatherings in Portland, Eugene and Seattle, he initially became known for his unique style of events that were associated with inspirational experiences for the attendees.

In 1997, feeling that there was something missing in the sounds he was hearing from the dancefloor, Manoj trained himself to dj on turntables and soon after established himself as a well-respected dj.

Feeling the limitations of playing records, he excitedly embraced the new digital age of music and its respective technologies. With these new resources at his command, Manoj is now bridging musical worlds and expanding beyond any single limited definition of sound.

In 2009, reversing a common trend in dance music to reduce dj sets and overbook lineups, Manoj began playing extended sets that have ranged up to 7.5 hours which have him performing from the moment doors open to the very last track played in a night. The response from the attendees and dancers has been overwhelmingly positive and has inspired him to take this experience out further into the world.

What Manoj would most want you to know about himself:

"I was born from the dancefloor and will always be a dancer at heart. I am continually moved and changed by the power of music and the many transformational experiences I encounter while dancing and performing. I now dedicate my life to share with others the blessings I have received. Realizing every opportunity to play music for others is a gift, I do my best to stay open, meet the dancers where they are at and then hopefully take them to a more inspiring, lighter and playful space within themselves as the music comes through."
