    Release Info:
After the noisy summer debut of “Editor’s Kutz Vol 1”, the label challenges and joins forces with some of the hottest names around the disco and editing scene! “Editor’s Kutz Vol 2” is not just another compilation with disco edits and reworks. Some of your favourite and familiar disco anthems from the past team-up with juicy disco rarities, resulting in a super-combo of catchy disco-based sounds: disco-soul / disco-funk / synth-disco / disco-house!
Start the engines with side “A”: Gaining rapid recognition, Stockholm based “Disco Tech” squeezes the best out of a classic disco hymn. “You & I” is totally renovated with its fresh baseline and filtering parts keeping you warm before the track loads up and you start singing! Unearthing rare gems from his vaults and “teasing” them with all proper respect is more than a duty for “VinylAddicted”. “Vibrations” is a trip back to the pure disco-soul sounds of late 70s, a truly hard-to-find gem, which is built-up on an irresistible beat, accompanied by light guitar, breathtaking sax and sexy female vocals! Now flip it for “B” side: after having completed a successful and memorable tour in Europe, “Late Nite Tuff Guy” joins this release with “Say U Love Me”, a lofty rework on Janet’s big hit. LNTG keeps Janet’s sweet vocals alive, working on his favourite beatline, while you enjoy hearing the guitar spanking beneath. Simply irresistible! The baton goes now to “Ed Wizard & Disco Double Dee”. Well known for pushing his discofied beats to the top, Mr. D offers a deep-disco / disco-funk killer, dressed with clever percussion and amazing, melodious strings! Oh, you’re gonna love this “Love Ya”!
Time for record number two: It’s been a dreamy year so far for the Irish duo “Get Down Edits” with many great gigs in Europe and many hot tracks to remember! The best momentum for “Editor’s Kutz” to have their “Veliero” edit, deservedly supporting the pluralistic disco character of this compilation. Some funky flava to continue, with “Dynamicron” and his “Phonkimental” edit closing the “C” side. An absolute floor-burner with unstoppable, vivid male vocals, whose original can be hardly found in satisfying quality and affordable price around the web vinyl auctions! Side “D” begins with the massive “Sounds Good To Me” by “Fingerman”, whose extended (more than 10 mins) “Up Till Late” edit provides the early 90s synth-disco / proggy-disco banger with all the extra dancefloor boost that you need! Mission is accomplished with another Aussie based talented dj & producer, “Copycat”, whose rework on Loleatta’s legendary “Love Sensation” gets a perfect treatment with only the necessary vocal samples needed, fantastic bridges and beat explosions!
This 2 x 12’’ package comes on 600 copies of blue and red vinyl pressing. All tracks mastered by Grego. A huge gathering of fine selected disco edits/reworks that you can’t miss!
