An18-year veteran drum & bass DJ originally from Long Island, New York. DJ B-12 relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2005.

Background: DJ B-12 first heard "rave" or "techno" music around 1991 from friends who were in the rave scene and through popular “dance/house” music that was on MTV and the radio. He entered the underground dance music culture around 1993-1994 within the Long Island and NYC rave scenes, frequenting local Long Island weeklies and by going to Brooklyn warehouse raves. B-12 also went to NYC's Limelight, and The Palladium among other popular New York venues.

DJ B-12 started DJing around 1995/96. He started playing house parties and clubs in 1998. In 2003, B-12 did his first Internet radio show. It was called Stress Factor Saturday on Break Pirates out of Midlands, United Kingdom. During the early 2000’s his focus was in collecting and playing oldskool rave and jungle tracks from the early nineties. DJ B-12 has also done regular and guest shows on approximately 15-20 net stations over the years. These shows have been based all over the world. His mixes have been featured on Bass Drive. In 2003, he started his own radio station called Stress Factor Radio running featuring DJs from the UK, Europe, and all over the world. Stress Factor Radio is still going strong and attracts listeners from all over the world.

His record collection goes back into the early days of "techno" or "rave" or "hardcore breakbeat and jungle" as it was called in the United Kingdom, dating as far back as 1991. Over the years, DJ B-12 never limited himself to one particular genre or style. He collected most of the classics, ranging in styles from: trance, to house, to breaks, to techno, to oldskool hardcore breakbeat, to jungle and drum and bass. He has maintained his vinyl collection and kept the older original tunes while continuing to build an extensive collection of more current tracks.

DJ B-12 was a staple at New York City's Camouflage. Throughout his career he has played alongside artists including but not limited to: DJ Dara, DJ DB, Christian Bruna, 9X, Kech, DJ Beau a/k/a Raw Q, Karl K & Kaos, Paul C, Odi, the Cobraconz, and the Heavy Heads. He now plays new drum & bass. He enjoys procuring, collecting, and playing the most cutting edge drum and bass. His selections vary from liquid funk and electro, to uplifting vocals, all the way to the dark and hard neurofunk, and everything in between.

Currently: DJ B-12 regularly plays at Junglist Massive in Charlotte, NC and has played many other local events and venues.
