DJ White Lotus is a performing artist from Albany, NY. Rooted in hip hop, he began DJing in 1997, but over time has expanded his palette to include virtually all styles of music. His name is inspired by the classic kung-fu flick “Fists of the White Lotus”.

Lotus takes pride in being able to tastefully blend together music of all types in his sets. On a typical night, he will begin his set slow with some hip hop, bring it up through the mid-tempo with samba-inspired beats, then finish off with some electro house pop remixes. Throughout his set, Lotus triggers samples and cue points using an MPC pad, and whenever possible his set is accompanied by a stimulating visual collage.

Lotus challenges the average listener with his eclectic taste but rewards the diverse fan with a unique live experience.
