I love playing music that brings a smile to peoples feet
.
I play a mixture of traditional world music and future world beats & bass.
As a DJ I have supported the following acts, Seu Jorge, Amadou & Mariam, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Ska Cubano, Kanda Bongo Man, Rokia Traroure, Giles Peterson and DJ Marky. I have played at WOMAD 2009 & 2010 (England), Bristol Harbourside Festival, Guanabara, Notting Hill Arts Club and held a weekly residency at the Big Chill bar and the Canteen in Bristol.
In adition I am responsible for setting up the World Beatz parties as well as Fiesta and the monthly Brazilian party, Brazilian Beatz (all in Bristol) http://www.brazilianbeatz.co.uk
