About
Vito Castellana a.k.a. Dj Veetz is a Detroit Dance Music enthusiast born in Detroit, Michigan. He began his music career on the piano/keyboard when he was eleven years old with a passion for classical, new age and ragtime music. He competed in different states and fell in love with the influence music had on people's lives. Veetz began listening to electronic music when he was about 13 years old and was intrigued by its culture and energy. His calling to the turntables was influenced by attending a late night set by his favorite deep house producer, Steve Bug. Ever since then, he has been lighting up clubs from Chicago to the suburbs of Detroit. His followers describe his sound as "diverse," and make mention that "you never know what's coming next." Veetz enjoys keeping his crowds guessing and frequently testing the waters with new music and sound. A Dj without an ego; his sole purpose was to make you dance and that's where he excels.
Veetz has had the utmost pleasure with spinning with some of the world's greatest Dj's including Porter Robinson,Wolfgang Gartner, Zedd, Cazzette, Gabriel & Dresden, Kenneth Thomas, Anthony Attalla, Nadia Ali, Starkillerz, Designer Drugs, Felix Cartal, Audiojack and just recently played his first music festival (IDentity Festival). Stay tuned for upcoming shows and big things in the cue for 2013.
